Fizzy Fig, Honey and Rosemary Gin Cocktail

For this fizzy fig, honey and rosemary gin cocktail, I wanted to create something bubbly and fizzy–which is exactly how I feel when I think about the upcoming holidays.

Even though this year has most definitely been a different one (for lack of a better word) my feelings about the holiday’s are not different. I’m grateful to still have my health, my loved ones are all home in time for the holiday’s, and we have promised each other to still be merry for the holiday’s.

The most exciting part of the holidays for me is gift-giving. Sipsmith London Dry Gin makes for the perfect gift as it’s the perfect gin to make both classic and innovative gin cocktails.

Recipe:
1 part Sipsmith London Dry Gin
3 parts sparkling wine or champagne
3/4 part fig, honey and rosemary syrup*
Garnish with sprig of rosemary

Combine ingredients in glass of choice. Stir, then garnish with sprig of rosemary and fig quarters or slices. Cheers!

*Recipe for syrup:
Bring 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup honey, 3-4 figs and sprig of rosemary to a boil. Strain and discard solids, smashing figs to get all liquids out. You will be left with a pretty pink syrup.

Let the syrup cool before using it to make the cocktail
Start with one part Sipsmith London Dry Gin
Enjoy!
